My legacy.. How will you remember me.

We all die.. a truth hard to swallow and yet I think about often. Some have more time than others.. but before the inevitable we are very much alive. So during this life what is our legacy? What stands out to many? How did you treat the people around you? Do you smile often? What is Your Legacy???

Just recently I went through an upsetting day in my life where I just cried.. I looked to another Godly mother and wife who would just listen and one thing she had mentioned that stood out to me was about my legacy.. so I thought about that for a good amount of time.

Id Hope that people saw me as a kind and generous person. That i was willing to take the shirt off my back for anyone in need. That I was a good Mother to my children so they would grow up to be good parents to their children. Id want to be remembered as a loving wife with the most utmost respect for my husband. Most Important I would want people to know me as a follower of Jesus. That when it was time to go home that no one would look at me with the disappointing statement of "You Never Told Me" that His love would just reflect off of me onto the people around me. I was a shoulder to the broken, eyes for the blind, advice worth listening too. Someone Who once fell into a deep dark hole and only by Gods grace and Mercy stood stronger than ever.

So What is your legacy? When we leave here we leave our loved ones with nothing but our memories and our legacy. What are you leaving them? If your not sure.. maybe its time to evaluate. My story Is not finished. I live a life I know I don't deserve and until my last breath I choose to make my legacy Inspire.
