Day 90: 5 Minute #freewrite Children
Have you ever just sat down and watched your children play? I cant help but think how incredible they are with their Imagination. I love watching my son making the sound effects of his cars as he drives them down the hallway and wonder what adventure his imagination has him on today? It intrigues me and brings me back to my childhood
I remember playing In the woods with my cousins running from the "cowboys" jumping in the canoe to escape down the river (pond). Days of playing barbies and dress up. How real our imaginations made play time for us hours at a time. When did we lose it? I just cant seem to remember when I lost mine? Almost as If adulthood came and stole it like a thief in the night. Oh how I wish I had even half the imagination I had when I was a small child. Children grow up way to quick. While I took my childhood for granted, I pray they will live theirs to the fullest, never missing the next adventure their creative imagination takes them on.

This is why at some times I let them have messy rooms. I play with them to get back a part of my childhood that I never want to lose.
aww I understand that. Its simply mesmerizing sometimes.
I know!! it is so weird. I think we are told over and over again that something is not real, or not to lie when we tell stories.... That is why we need freewrites - to just let go :)
