Linux Operating System:
Linux is a family of free and open-source software operating systems built around the Linux kernel. Typically, Linux is packaged in a form known as a Linux distribution for both desktop and server use. Linux is developed by Linus Torvalds.

Versions of Linux:

  1. Ubantu

Started off with Slackware in the early 90's and moved to Red Hat for working purposes. Now, semi-retired, Ubuntu is my top choice (like yours it seems 😎)
