Hi, fellow Steemians, let me introduce myself, my name is Midhun Mahesan and I am 20 years old. I currently live in India and I am a computer science student.

My story:

For the past few years, I worked as a freelance web developer and blogger. I also started investing in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, litecoin and bitcoin cash. I heard about steemit through facebook and I joined a week ago. It took a couple of days to get my steemit account approved.
At the moment, I think steemit is a good opportunity especially considering there is no fee for joining.
To be honest I made decent money from investing in bitcoin and litecoin, but my initial investment was quite low and I couldn't grab a lot of profits.
It's 2018 now, I thought I need to step up my game. When I heard that steemit gives you money without any initial investment, I could hardly believe.
And as many say it is too good to be true!
So, I will be trying steemit for a couple of months and I do not expect any immediate results. If it turns out to be profitable, I'll post consistently.

At present, I don't have a particular niche for posting. So for the first month, I will be cycling between Entrepreneurship, Cryptocurrency, and Blockchain since these are my current interests.

My views about steemit:

With just a week's of knowledge,
I think it's a good opportunity to grow as a community.

I am still figuring out what is STEEM, STEEM power, Steem dollar and how I could convert it to real money.
If someone could help me with this I'd really appreciate it. :)
