My Purple Piano
So, I have this purple piano...
It was my grandma’s piano, but it was a walnut color when she had it. I’ve had it in my home for several years now, and I wanted to do something artsy with it. So I painted it purple.
I chose purple because it aligned with the colors I associate my favorite chords with. I know it may sound crazy but the mood created with minor and major sevenths make me feel the same mood as purples and teals create.
Ok. I’ve done it! I finally posted about music, which is what I was originally going to blog about when I chose the username “itsallasong”.
Since I love to travel, I will continue to post travel pictures. But I plan on integrating music more into my writing.

That's the awesome-st looking piano i've seen. Im used to the calssic look, but never thought this would work. This works! I bet you'll be more inspired doing your music with this one.

Thanks so much @funtraveller! I’m considering doing some piano/music lesson videos. I play mostly by ear. But I have taken lessons and even some college courses through the years to learn the theory. Still, I go back to playing by ear because it comes naturally to me. I think there is a need for lessons that help people tie their natural ear with bit sized pieces of theory...just enough to give them the boost they need. I may post a survey and ask people if they feel this would be useful.

Oh I love how it looks!! What a beautiful job you did!! Purple is such a fun color. While I haven't ever related music to colors, I do relate colors to feelings and moods. I like having a bright colors such as yellows, pinks and blues in my home to make it feel playful and fun.
