My Introduction to Steemit
Greetings everyone. For a very long time, I've heard so much about this platform from a couple of friends who are themselves Steemians. But I have been lackadaisical to get on board and see what happens down here and how I'd be positively impacted. Well, I am here now. Seeing the various posts and the interface of this platform with its user-friendly characteristics, I must confess and register that the devs did an excellent job and I am excited to be here already.
I look forward to gaining and broadening my knowledge by leveraging this platform and as much as I can and also becoming financially stable as a writer. We all want to be financially stable...
I'm Agada Itodo with the user name @itodo. I am Idoma by tribe, a Nigerian citizen resident in Nigeria. I hail from Orokam in Ogbadibo LGA, Benue state, Nigeria.
Orokam is a small village in the Idoma conglomerate which borders Eastern Nigeria. It is one among 22 districts in the Idoma conglomerate which has persisted in sustaining its beautiful cultural heritage such as fashion, music, cuisines, and masquerades. Et al.
I am 33 years old.
I am from a family of 10. My Dad is a retired civil servant and my Mum is a trader. They are resident in Benue state.
Academic background.
I am a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Markudi. Studied Animal Nutrition under Animal Science and in my final year experimented with Bacillus subtilis ( A pro-biotic) in poultry production. The essence of this experiment was to encourage the use of probiotics in poultry production in Benue State against the use of antibiotics in perpetuity.
My Hobbies include writing, singing, and travelling. Cooking. Yes! I love to cook because my Grandma taught me how from a very young age. Growing up, I grew up to loving it. I remain thankful to her.
The reasons why I joined Steemit are that I want to connect more with people from different cultures around the globe. Learn from them and have them learn from me. The digital era makes the world a village. Residing in a country with an unstable economic reality with a poor-performing currency, and inflation hitting the roof, one can not depend on a single stream of income.
So the financial incentives attached to Steemit are an attraction for me. And also i joined steemit to broaden my horizons.
While I've heard about Steemit from a couple of friends, @blessingogah-1 have ensured that I become a member myself. And to this effect, she's been very resourceful in helping me find my way around setting up an account and subscribing to various communities.
As an Entrepreneur, Animal Nutritionist and Writer, I'd like to delve into geopolitics, entertainment, food, fashion, Cryptocurrency and FX. Tech skills and Agribusiness. The problems to be encountered by newbies in the various industries above and as well as possible solutions.
My accomplishment would be to impact knowledge, learn, and unlearn. Help Techies, and newbie Crypto-FX traders on how to find their ways around their chosen career or skill. And for the food lovers, what food to try.
I have an exciting social life and operates on Facebook, X, IG, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp at my leisure time..
