First time trying Mr. Kim Bob's Korean Rice Meal!
Hello itinerants all over the world and steem community! It took me almost forever to finally try a Korean dish since I moved in our hometown! Have you ever heard of Mr. Kim Bob? It's actually my first time to try this korean dish when I went to Davao City. If you are a Korean food lover, please continue reading this blog and share your thoughts in the comment section below!
The food shop was first established in 1997. It is said to be acquired and relaunched by Mr. David Myung Jae Lee and his family on October 10, 2010. The store is mostly located at food courts in most SM malls in the Philippines.
I never heard of it until my aunt treated me in one of its branches in Davao City. I can really tell that it's very popular since it's being sought by many people. If you happen to visit Davao, it's just located at SM Davao, food court area.
They offer variety of affordable food choices like kimchi, pork, chicken and vegetable rice meals. As I know, an order comes with a drink which is already such a budget meal.
I got the dish they called "BIBIMBOB" which consists of rice, pork, vegetables, sunny side up egg and kimchi. You have to mix the everything to get the best taste. I think it's their best seller which only costs 119.00 pesos. (less than $3.00)
Although, most of the feedbacks they are getting from the customers are customer service related due to slow service and miscommunication of orders maybe because they have a lot of customers and they only have a very few personnel. Anyhow, I was satisfied since I really like Korean rice meals specially with kimchi and due to the fact that I was only treated by my aunt.
