There she laid hopeless
Today I decided to try out writing.. I hope it isn't so bad, tell me what you think in the comments below
There she laid,
Hopelessly, used, pained,
Hearing a thousand voices,
Mixed with countless feelings
Specifically: that self acclaimed
Disappointment
Unanswered questions, endless prayers
On but a few pages in that popular
Church note
Overwhelmed with confusion and rejection
And of course that self acclaimed
Worthlessness
Consistent and continuous procedures
Refreshed pain and fear
This time accompanied with a river of tears
Naive, yet really exposed
Overfed with that self acclaimed
Sex object
Manipulated, held by her own actions
With isolation on fast rising
Something has to leave,
Insecurity
To give room for her ray of hope

Thank you for this powerful poem. I can relate so deeply to the feelings of self disappointment and worthlessness. Yet these beliefs are traps that we get stuck in when we forget the truth.... which is that we are absolutely worthy and there is no one to disappoint, it is only beliefs we make in our own mind. Thanks for keeping Hope in your heart <3 I look forward to sharing more with you!
