Someone To Lean On
The reason behind your cries,
I have finally figured out why.
Your bloodshot eyes,
For sure, it wasn't because of the sleepless nights.
The way you show that smile,
Forced to do it so no one would ask you why.
But friend, I have known you.
And there's something going on inside you.
I may not sure of what is it,
But hey, I am just here, your friend, in case you need help.
Longing to give you a tight embrace,
To make you warm again.
To make you feel alive again.
In case the flame inside you is already fading.
