Make this time in Sweet 'Zarda Pulao
This recipe, known as sweet rice or jarda casserole, is very festive in northern India. Where Muslims make it on the occasion of Eid, Jaina creates it during the Purushottam.
In this recipe made from basmati rice, Indian spices standing for sugar and smell with taste are used.
Ingredient
Basmati rice - 1 cup
Sugar - ½ cup
Clove - 3-4
Sharp Leaf - 1
Ghee - 2 tablespoons
Kesari Sweet Color, Food - ½ a T-Spoon
Chopped almonds - 1 tsp
Chopped pistachios (soaked in water for 5 minutes) - 1 tsp
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp spoon
Saffron - for garnishing
Water - 2¾ cup + washing
HOW TO PREPARE
Take basmati rice in a sieve.
Now add water to them and wash them well.
Take out in the bowl.
Mix one cup of water, do not overuse the water and let it soak for 5 minutes.
Heat the ghee in a pan in so long.
Now add boiling leaf and cloves.
After that add rice and 1¾ cup water.
Now mix the Kesari dining and mix it well.
Cover it and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
Add sugar after this.
Mix well and once the sugar starts melting then cover it once again.
Close the gas, cook for 5-10 minutes in steam.
Now add cardamom powder, chopped almonds and pistachios.
Mix well and again cover a couple of minutes.
Now remove it in a serving bowl and garnish with saffron.
INSTRUCTIONS
- These rice can also be cooked in the cooker.
- You can use dried fruits in accordance with your wishes.
