Hi guys! I'm very excited to share with you my favorite memories here on Steemit.

I truly bless the day I discovered Steemit. It has been the best three months of my life. I can't begin to count all the benefits I have derived from being a Steemian. I have learnt alot from Steemians, including the ones I haven't even met yet.

I was introduced to Steemit by @imohmitch @davidmarkgeorge and @johnmitchel. At first, I felt very reluctant to sign up because I am not really good at writing. But they have been the ones urging me to forge ahead. They have always been there for me any time I get stuck. They have taught me alot about Steemit and they have been so patient with me and for this, I am very grateful.

I may not have many friends here on Steemit, but so far the few I have met have been very supportive. I also want to take out some time to appreciate the Curators and Moderators. They are really doing a great job here. I have been corrected a few times, but in love. Even when I make mistakes that should have been frowned at seriously, they still find the best and nicest ways to correct me. They are all committed to making sure that newbies like me get better. I sincerely admire their hardwork. It's not so easy to keep watch over so many people at the same time and yet, do it so well.

I was encouraged to stick with Steemit after I made my first post. I can't forget the value in a hurry. It was 3.12 Steems. I was so excited and I just couldn't keep it to myself. I had to share the good news with my fellow Steemians. Eversince then, I have made several posts.

I was even more excited the day I made my first withdrawal. I made sure all my Steemit friends were there that day to share in my joy. It wasn't that much, but for some reason, I felt really happy and fulfilled.
It has not always been rosy as I have had my lowest moments on Steemit. The first time I had low votes, I was close to giving up. But my friends told me I shouldn't always expect things to go the way I planned. They told me as a newbie, I'll experience some disappointments. And of a truth, I have been disappointed a few times. Nevertheless, I have refused to give up. There are times when I feel so reluctant to post especially after a long day at work. But each time I see how committed my friends are to making quality posts, I become inspired to post too.

I have acquired some skills as a Steemian. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not a very good writer. I get surprised whenever I am able to perfectly express myself in writing. Each time I go through my own write-up, I pause and ask myself, "Is this really me?!". Steemit has made me a better writer in just three months.

I have also learnt some coding/markdown styling even though I am still trying to get a hang of it. I am sure that I'll get better in no time.

I hope I'll get to meet most of the Steemians I admire one day. I think that will be one of the best days of my life.
