His father's tomb is where he spends his days in the village. With a long black veil every time he made a pilgrimage there. Sit down and talk anything. Father seemed to sit with him, eating, drinking and joking, as a child who has always been a father's pride.

Two months after her father died, Ayu was forced to marry an ustad who taught her during MTSN. Ayu can no longer refuse it. Only fathe r's grave where he mourned his fate. Mother is increasingly difficult to discuss in any matter. The marriage was lively and it was done by Ayu for the sake of her mother and father. The lively marriage only lasted two years. Ustad argued that he could not stand Ayu who was not independent and her mother interfered in their family affairs.

Ayu decides to continue her studies even though it costs money from selling clothes online and opening a fried food stall in front of the campus which is close to her house. In the third semester a tragedy occurred again. Mother forced him to marry a senior lecturer whose wife just died a few months ago. Mothers who are getting older are increasingly difficult to talk to. Ayu is said to be a rebellious child if she does not want to accept the offer from the lecturer. He will make Ayu's life happier with a large income from the lecturer. And Ayu again helpless.

The marriage only lasted two and a half years. Ayu is considered by the lecturers to be too demanding. Yes, according to his promise which Ayu never answered or refused. He promised to buy a new car in Ayu's name if she wanted to get married. And the small shop will be renovated into a shop like a modern shop. But that was the trigger for the anger of the lecturers. And finally the marriage ran aground in the middle of the road, at that time Ayu would be at the end of her college semester.

Father's grave again became his garden of lamentation. He built a small hut there. The wails of Rabiah Al-Adawiyah floated slowly every day in her mouth. The night did not dampen his enthusiasm for reading prayers in front of his father's grave. He returned to his long black robe. Close your eyes to a world that seems to keep playing with its life with various trials. He had locked his heart to all the winds of earthly heaven and decided to live alone in the shadow of a wise father.

Ayu returns to her routine of studying and selling at her shop. Two children from two husbands became his loyal friends in all work. He will finish his studies next semester. The dream of becoming a civil servant at a school near his home is booming again. “However, father once told us not to forget that we have to learn, no matter what happens. And if possible serve as a government employee, whatever the position."

But the storm seemed to still be hitting his mind. His zeal for reciting at his father's grave that afternoon after Asr was interrupted by the sound of the call to prayer from his village meunasah prayer room. A very familiar voice.
"Is it possible that it is Adi who calls for Asr prayer?"

“Is it true that Adi has changed a lot after he was in Malaysia, became a prisoner in prison and finally succeeded in becoming a fruit entrepreneur there. It is also heard that Adi is now wearing a Pakistani koko shirt, a white cap, and cingkrang pants everywhere. And he often utters words that he will only marry Ayu every time someone asks when to marry."

He quickly finished his reading to go home immediately. She hopes Adi doesn't dare to come home to meet her or her mother. The door to it was closed for whatever reason.
"It's enough for two people to be my husband. And both I failed to be a good wife." He sighed.
“Even if Adi is my hope, he is too late, too late.”
Ayu sits with her two children who are learning to read after Maghrib. I could hear the sound of shoes approaching the door. From outside came the sound of greeting, it seemed like the voice of Mr. Geusyik who was also his uncle. And sure enough when the door was opened, Pak Geusyik stood with a man who was none other than Adi.

Ayu slammed the door hard and closed it tightly again. He goes against his conscience of respect for guests. She ran to her room crying loudly, followed by her children. The mother who had been reading the Koran came out and saw what was happening outside. He opened the door and asked Mr. Geusyik to come in with his guests. Mother stared at Adi for a long time, but he didn't say anything.

Mr. Geusyik also introduced that the one in front of him was Adi. Mother's face reddened and wanted to scream something. Mr. Geusyik immediately calmed him down.
"It's been a long time sis and it's been a long time."
“Adi has changed now and I always go to his place when I go to Malaysia.”

Mother was silent with Pak Geusyik's explanation, then went to get a drink and asked Ayu to come out. But Ayu's mother ignored the knock on the door until they came home empty handed. Adi entrusts some gifts to Ayu. Mother objected to it. But Mr. Geusyik managed to give hope, it is not good to refuse guest gifts. And explained that Adi will return to Malaysia tomorrow, greetings to Ayu.

That night was a hell which opened its doors for Ayu again. The rain didn't stop, the lightning didn't go off and on. Her tears mingled with the rain outside. “how should I refuse Adi? What if you have to accept it?

Ayu's two children cry loudly in the morning. They shouted for mami (grandmother's call) from her room. Mother ran fast, it seems something happened to Ayu. And when the door opened. Seen a body that was being moved by the two small children with a bang. But he didn't wake up from his sleep either. A small piece of writing was held tightly by him. Mom opened it and read, "I'm sorry, Ayu mom, I don't want to fail in the third world, let me end this life in my own way." Mother collapsed in the room unconscious after reading the writing. There was an announcement at the eunasah
"Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi rajiun."
