Schnebly Hill View

in #photofeed6 years ago

In the early days of Sedona people traveling to Flagstaff had to use Schnebly Hill Road which was and still is a gnarly,. winding and steep dirt road which climbs up more than two thousand feet to the top of the rim. Its a bumpy jolting ride but the views are breathtaking and that is where this photo was taken from.

Welcome sir

Just amazing....how harsh/mild are the winters in Sedona bro? If you could speak in Celsius I'd really appreciate it :D :D

Thank you, winter temperatures can range from -15 to 50 celcius but normally without cold fronts from 0 to30 celcius. It can vary a lot from year to year. Winter this year has been the warmest and driest in the 38 years I have lived here, not much in the way of freezing temperatures and a small amount of rain. We are seeing the effects of a La Nina weather oscillation.

what an amazing view, really gorgeous shot.

Thank you sir.
