Granite Pyramid

in #photography5 years ago

Mankind has built many phenomenal pyramids throughout history. But so has nature! Man built them from the bottom up and nature did the opposite working from the top down by removing mass through erosion. Here's another example of natures fine work.

I already saw this image the other night when you showed it to me in person but figured I might as well leave a comment anyways. Cool shot! That's a really neat mountain and spot. I like how the trees are growing out of the top of it. Also I like the words you included with your picture! Very clever.

Good to hear Paul, nice compliment! This granite outcrop is of different geology and much older than what's around it.

What a cool pyramid

That's right, so true. thank you!

Hi @irvinesimages ,nature does it very well, if we look closely we can see the solid base of this pyramid embedded in the earth, even this detail takes into account mother nature.

Hi Martha, it's wonderful how nature can cause us to think about the formation of our environment through the beauty that exist now. Thanks!

Great picture! Thanks for the share, I love to go out and hike places like this all over the US, some of these sights really are wonders to behold in person especially to be able to feel and see the shear magnitude of these formations and how small they make us seem in comparison.

Small is exactly how I feel when I visit these majestic locations that show the passage of time. Thank you!

You are a very good photographer in my life.I really like your photography.

Sounds good, thanks!

That's so cool. It looks like the mountain is growing out of the foliage and ground. neat. Also that sky is pristinely blue. Very pretty

It's fortunate that we receive enough rain to support the foliage that adorns the landscape. It's so nice to have such frequent blue skies. Thanks!

Thanks again my friend!

Yes, our planet is rich in beautiful landscapes. A very beautiful place. Thank you for sharing @irvinesimages

I totally agree, I'm grateful to live in such a place as this. Thanks a lot serkagan!

Great adventure my friend. Such an amazing natural Pyramid. Really if we climb on the Pyramid then enjoy the real beauty of Sedona.
