Shooting Sunflowers ~ ColorChallenge

Being in a field of blooming sunflowers on a dark, rainy day is somehow relaxing. You leave the noisy road behind, and the deeper you go, the less distracting the passing cars become - their engine noise is replaced by the buzz of thousands of bees. The thick gray clouds protect you from the burning summer sun so that you can devote yourself entirely to shooting these huge petals and seeds...

Awesome shot with capturing the lady shooting, sound slike you had a good time out shooting them

I think I missed the peak of them here this year, Ohh well maybe next year

Thank you @tattoodjay! It started raining shortly after I finished shooting them, and I only wish I stayed a bit longer under the rain. I still had a good time though :)
I missed them too this year - these are from a couple of years ago.

Good well maybe we will both capture them next year

GREAT image Daniel. Her hat matches the sunflowers and the jacket matches their leaves. We have fields of sunflowers in Oz, but I've never seen them ~ Yet. 🦋

Thanks a lot, Ally!

A perfect summer photo!

Yes! Sadly I didn't shoot any sunflowers this summer - the ones in the picture are from 2 years ago 😊
Thanks for your comment, Melinda.

I the idea of having a woman in the photo.

People always make photos more interesting :)

Ooh I don't think I've ever stood in a field of sunflowers. Must add that to my to do list - you make it sound wonderful! Really lovely photo too. :)

Thanks a ton, @johleen, I am happy that you like it :) It's really cool, especially when the sunflowers are taller than you 😁
