1 Year Later
Yesterday was my first Steemiversary, and in the spirit of the robotlution that is taking place on Steemit, I decided to have a bottle of Brewski Red Robot DIPA.
During my first year here, I managed to accumulate a substantial amount of Steem Power by powering up 100% of what I earn from authoring, investing my own money, and curating. The ~3600 SP that I have puts me in a position of being able to distribute 8-9 Steem Dollars a day in the form of rewards.
Going forward, I will continue to support my favorite authors, and I will spend more time in #photofeed, where I will look to reward new talented photographers. I also hope that the upcoming communities will facilitate human interaction and help decrease automation.
Last but not least, I want to thank those of you that have been supporting me during this year. You guys are awesome, and it's been a lot of fun "having you around" :) Cheers!

Thanks @karinxxl! Okay, I probably confused you a bit because I put curation at the front; it wasn't much different in the early days, so I have earned the least amount of SP from curation. That said, nowadays I earn between 0.5 and 1 SP a day from upvoting other Steemians - not that bad!

It is rewarding, and given the price of SBD is higher, a 100% upvote gives the author a decent ~$1.5 USD :)

It tasted like a typical good quality IPA - fruity and refreshing! Needless to say, it was strong enough to give me a slight buzz :)

Happy Steemiversary. I found Steemit around 8 months ago but that 4 months difference seems like 4 years in the crypto world :) The next year is going to be interesting.
Thanks man! Yes, 4 months difference is huge as the user base grew a lot during that time. Back then, it wasn't that difficult to get noticed and accumulate SP :)
