Update on Kaleb - Prayer Request.
Dear Steemit followers,
These are the messages from Zac (@mericanhomestead) from his Facebook page. I know many have left Facebook, so I'm posting the information here on Steemit.
Thank you everyone for your prayers. My youngest Kaleb (5), was injured while riding his bike on Tuesday. Doctors have concluded he cut open his spleen and they are contemplating removal. He has been moved to the pediatric ICU and they are monitoring his red blood count. They are hoping it will stop bleeding internally but the next 24 hours will be critical. The little guy is in a lot of pain right now but he's being very strong and courageous. Appreciate your prayers.
Update #1:
Update. Kaleb is still fighting. The doctors believe there is still some internal bleeding and his hemoglobin count is getting lower. His vitals are strong and steady. They haven't ruled out surgical procedures but want to give his body every opportunity to heal itself naturally. We have a good support group and my parents are here. Please pray. Thank you so much.
Update #2:
Update 2: Vital signs were weakening so we only had the surgery as an option. Out of surgery and on the road to recovery. The spleen was torn into 3 pieces. There was no chance of it still being used. Your prayers have provided much strength to all of us. Thank you. Kaleb is resting now and we are by his side. No have no ideas what your prayers have meant to us.
Teshuva Ministries has offered to collect donations free of charges to help the Bauers with medical expenses... including a emergency helicopter transport. Other sites take a percentage of monies raised.

As long as Kaleb is on the mend, our prayers have been answered! GOD is good, and he really loves children! May GOD bless Kaleb, and help his family in this difficult time.
