Our First Dinner-Ready Peppers from our Garden!
We've Been Trying to Grow Green Pepper for Five Years Now
We've tried growing peppers every year since we started our garden, but every year something causes them either to not produce or not taste very good.
The first year there were not enough nutrients in the soil, second year not enough water. Third year it was blight and last year was blight again but we used serenade to fight off the blight and got a few peppers with thin walls and very bitter.
This year, I think we got it figured out. The right water, improved soil and a strategy for fighting blight. So now we have enough peppers for a meal or two.

Never had any luck with peppers. A friend even gave me a plant to try...well the plant is alive but I doubt I get any peppers from it. Oh well good thing they grow extra that I can have!

Every time I plant a seed I expect an education. LOL Learning to grow food is a lifelong process. So glad that you rose to the challenge of the pepper! I am new here on Steemit and love the great content! Bet that dinner was good!
