Colorchallenge White Sand Blue Sky on Similan Islands
I was relaxing after swimming during my trip to Similan Islands when my attention got this beautiful piece of coral. I guess it's a black coral - Antipatharia. A few years ago marine life researchers found a black coral which is 4265 years old - one of the oldest living creature in the world. Mostly they occur in tropics at the depths 300-2000 meters, but not this one, I guess. The sea life in Andaman sea was severely damaged after Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004.
