"Turning Failure into Fuel: A Journey of Resilience and Determination"

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE2 months ago

Surrendering to circumstances should not be part of one's identity, every second is depressed and unable to get out of negative assumptions about life. Everyone must realize that realizing desires is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand, but just talking without acting will not change anything.

The world continues to shift every time, not only social problems but even the entire order of life has various complex problems. The poverty rate continues to increase and is even unstoppable. Who is to blame? The government with its policies?

Today, not only developing countries but also developed countries are experiencing the same problem. The availability of employment is a basic problem for society, I do not associate political factors with it, but the high crime rate is closely related to economic factors.

Whatever the current conditions, should we remain silent? waiting for God's gift to be given a sack of gold! Impossible... It is impossible without adequate effort.

I, or anyone else, should be sensitive to the current situation by being able to think constructively to bring about change in life and continue to introspect by exploring one's potential to be better than before to become the right solution in solving the problems currently being faced.

Failure is not a reason to retreat

I experienced the most difficult phases in life, born with all economic limitations with 9 siblings, maybe if at that time I had to surrender to the situation, I would not even be able to complete my basic education.

But what I did was continue to form a constructive mindset, I believe that every hard work and desire will change everything for the better, by doing any job at school age I have been able to save for education costs until I finish my diploma.

An inspiring story became an important lesson at that time, when I saw one of my cousins who had nothing was able to follow education with very satisfying achievements. In fact, when viewed from a financial background, let alone education costs, to meet primary needs as physiological needs is not possible.

I learned one thing, he wanted to rise from adversity, changing everything from what was considered impossible to possible. The hard work he did was not easy, by getting a scholarship from the government he was accepted at one of the leading universities.

This is not the end of everything, a new chapter begins when you have to study far from home, have to have a place to live (rent), and where can these needs be met? only strong desire and determination can help in any situation.

Various efforts are made, for example becoming a private tutor, a tutor at a tutoring institution and anything is done to overcome every need during education.

By daring to choose, it means having the courage to get out of the problems that occur and change everything for the better. This is proven that without any cost from parents, they are able to complete their wishes until they come true, complete their education and get a decent job to change the difficult life that they have experienced for years.

The journey is not easy, failure continues to fill the long journey during education, but strong determination is able to provide the best solution to every problem faced.

Failure is energy

What if failure is likened to gasoline, the higher the octane content in the gasoline, the faster the engine power will be. This is the background of my failure and turning it into positive energy in facing a better future.

It is indeed not easy to do it, but strong determination is a trigger for the spirit to keep trying, I never even give up on failure because every day is almost filled with various failures.

But the principle is how I continue to learn from failure and turn it into delayed success, "I will soon reap the results, just wait for the time."

What struck me the most is that you had as many as 9 siblings. I also come from a poor family, but I was an only child, and even then, we barely survived, especially in the 1990s. While still in high school, I managed to enter a university for the philology department (there was a special program from the Small Academy of Sciences that allowed "wunderkinds" to do so, as I studied at a special school where we covered the first and second-year university curriculum in 10th and 11th grades). However, I had to leave the university within the first three months because my parents couldn’t afford the tuition.

I have long known that I am not unique in this; billions of other people also have very limited starting opportunities. A certain "philosophy of victory" can indeed help us, combined with hard work and perseverance. You are very right in noting that failures should not "kill" our spirit and motivation. The years have shown me that the university wasn’t actually necessary for me, as I wouldn’t have wanted to work as a teacher anyway. Sometimes fate itself adjusts our life journey (even if it seems unfair at the moment, years later we see that many failures were beneficial in the long run).
