Discovering Hidden Gems: My Journey in the City Worst Hit by the Tsunami

19 years have passed after the Tsunami Wave and Earthquake measuring 9.4 SC rocked the Provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra. Almost all human civilization along the coast was destroyed due to the strong shaking followed by the enormous tsunami wave.

Everything has passed, leaving only memories and experiences of future disaster mitigation for all elements of Acehnese society.

There is something impressive about this tour, when the order of the city and people's lives have recovered after the disaster, everything has changed. I previously studied in the provincial capital and it was a tourist destination this time, I have seen significant changes.

Even travel routes have undergone many changes, buildings have been well arranged and various tourist centres have been developed by the local government as regional assets and local revenue in the tourism sector.

The journey to the destination took almost 6 hours, this was an impressive journey considering the route was quite difficult because it had to pass through the Seulawah mountain valley because my condition was not fit to travel long distances.

But I was helped by my wife and younger sister to take turns driving and finally arrived at my destination. Even though this is not the main destination, unwinding during the trip by choosing this place was the right choice for me.

When seen from the outside, this place looks ordinary, there is nothing interesting, eh... don't be too quick to judge if you don't know it better. I started to enter this place after parking the vehicle.

Wow, that's Very impressive, everything looks very beautiful and cures fatigue after almost 6 hours of travel.

I was amazed when I saw the shady pine trees decorating this place, it really inspired me to explore further the beauty of this place which is located on the coast of the sea.
Almost every corner grows cypress trees, I approached the waiter there and asked about these trees, and she said these cypress trees were deliberately planted to add to the aesthetic value of this beach so that tourists would be interested in visiting.

Visitors can choose a place to relax, choose to be at a neatly arranged table under a pine tree, choose the huts on the coast, or choose indoors. However, if you prefer the outdoors, perhaps it would be more appropriate to choose a place to relax outside where umbrellas are available if it suddenly rains or the weather is hot.

I started looking for some of the most interesting and comfortable places to rest, it turns out that if you choose to be on the second floor it will also be very interesting, the hut is built with a wooden structure and is open to provide comfort for visitors.

You will be able to enjoy the beach atmosphere with the fresh breeze caressing your body, this is amazing, truly a hidden tourist attraction and rarely known by tourists.

For photography lovers and capturing natural beauty, you can also choose interesting spots to use as objects.

I think there is nothing wrong when deciding to visit this place, without having to pay an entrance ticket, you can immediately choose the place you want. It would be better if you visited it not on a holiday because according to information from the salesman who works here, every holiday there are lots of people local tourists flock to this place.

Especially towards evening, visitors can freely enjoy the sunset and immortalize it with their family.

This is one of the spots that visitors can use to relax, my family is capturing the moments of this trip. They looked happy while relaxing here with a memorable experience.

Meanwhile, the food menu is available in the menu list. You can order various types of traditional culinary and Thai specialities such as tom yam and various other culinary delights. What impressed me was the traditional pizza.

Pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, and there it is cooked. Because visitors are not allowed to enter this area, I was unable to document the steps taken to cook the pizza until it was finished.

This is really an impressive tourist spot, I am satisfied being here and paying attention to the atmosphere in the room, neatly arranged tables made of wood, for those of you who like reading, in this restaurant there are also various historical books about earthquakes and waves. tsunami that hit this province in 2004.

It turns out that many hidden tourist attractions in Aceh have grown and developed, you need references from local residents to find out about them and my trip is a form of recommendation from my family who live there.
