En mi cuidad (Barquisimeto) hay una gran torre en la que destaca un reloj, a esta la conocemos como "El Obelisco" y es tan alta (mide 75 metros de altura), que solemos hacer comparaciones graciosas con su tamaño, como por ejemplo ''quiero una hamburguesa del tamaño del Obelisco". Es por eso que se me ocurrió dibujar una torre similar a la que se encuentra en mi ciudad, pero, dándole un aspecto tridimensional. Aquí les muestro el resultado final, y más adelante podrán ver como fue el proceso de elaboración de este dibujo.
Materiales:
-Hoja de papel.
-Lápiz HB.
-Borrador.
-Tijera.
-Regla.
PROCESO
Comencé por trazar con lápiz la figura de la base, y el pilar de la torre. Se puede notar que las líneas son un poco irregulares ya que fueron trazadas a mano alzada.
Luego dibujé otros detalles más en la torre para hacerla más vistosa.
En esta parte del dibujo hice uso de una regla para crear líneas rectas y remarcarlo, además, le dibujé el reloj a la torre y terminé de definir detalles de líneas.
En esta parte comencé a sombrear afincando el lápiz hasta obtener el tono oscuro del fondo de la torre.
También sombreé el lado derecho de la torre con un tono gris.
Seguí sombreando la torre con un tono gris. En esta parte solo importa darle una base gris a la torre, ya que luego se le darán los detalles.
Aquí comienza mi parte favorita, trazar los detalles, y eso lo logré oscureciendo la torre y creando detalles de sombreado. Como usé solo lápiz HB, tuve que sombrear afincando el lápiz en las zonas que irían con tonos más oscuros.
Creo que todos los artistas tratamos de perfeccionar muy bien los dibujos, y por eso ya para finalizar el proceso de sombreado me dispuse a dar todos esos pequeños detalles que son casi imperceptibles para cualquiera que no se dedique a esto.
Quise también hacer un collage con las fotos que tomé durante el proceso de sombreado, me parece más sencillo y muy divertido apreciar el trabajo que me tomó el dibujo viéndolo de esta manera.
Por último, procedí a darle al dibujo un efecto tridimensional. Para ello recorté la página a poco centímetros de la base de la torre. Aquí les muestro como quedó.
Resultado final
Dibujar objetos tridimensionales ha sido un gran reto para mi, pero me siento satisfecha con los resultados. Espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado el dibujo, y que hayan disfrutado viendo el proceso. El efecto de las sombras en la base es lo crucial para llegar al efecto tridimensional, buen trabajo. Se ve algo complicado.
