The universe is something that attracts the attention of many, being an unknown space that hosts many mysteries and beauty. One of the most beautiful things that I have been able to see are the images of galaxies and nebulas that are found in the universe, and inspired by them I wanted to capture on a pair of shoes all their colors and spectacular shapes. With a little imagination everything is possible, until reusing my old shoes that you will see below:

GALACTIC SHOES

MATERIALS EMPLOYED

-Paint to the cold: light blue, dark blue, white.
-Sponge pieces.
-Old cloth shoes.
-Toothbrush.
-Paper to fill the shoe.

PROCESS

With a sponge soaked in white paint, I began to trace the figure of the nebula on the front of the shoe. During this process it is necessary to press the sponge so that the paint penetrates well into the fabric and the color is well defined.

immediately after finishing the nebula I changed sponge to use light blue paint, this has to be done quickly since the idea is to combine the light blue paint with the white paint that is still fresh to make a color degradation and give it a Realistic perspective to the galactic design.

With the dark blue paint I continued with the gradient of colors. At this point the front of the shoe was already covered but there was still a lot of work to be done.

On the outer side I painted another nebula repeating the same process of color degradation to continue filling spaces.

After a few hours of work and a long process I finished creating the nebulas. The shoes were almost ready, it was only necessary to enhance the white tones to give them greater luminosity.

In this photograph you can see a side view of the shoes with the white tone already reaffirmed.

To finish I took the toothbrush and dipped it with white paint to apply the technique of splashing with the I managed to create the stars that adorn this galaxy. I repeated this process several times until I got enough stars.
