This is a recyclable energy converter. It supplies your mains power. Let me explain step by step.

First, you need one or more solar panel. You can also have built a wind turbine. This devices will produce electricity.
Secondly, you need a grid tie inverter. You simply connect solar panels into the inverter than connect inverter to mains. So the all produced electricity will be pumped into your mains. For example: if you comsume 1000 watts at the moment and if your solar panels create 200 watts than your consumption will be read as 800 watts.

What about if you don't use any electrical device. If you have old fashion mechanical power meter, it runs backwards! Digital meters don't. If you have a digital meter and want to runs backwards than you need to ask your electricity company.
