Argentine Laotaro Martinez put Inter Milan ahead five minutes later and Antonio Candreva added Inter's second in the 40th minute.

But Dortmund turned the tables in the second half and managed to equalize by Moroccan Achraf Hakimi in the 51st minute and Julian Brandt in the 64th.

Ashraf Hakimi returned to take the lead and scored his second and third goal for Dortmund in the 77th minute.
