I have been interested in personal finance for years and I am a firm believer in investing in the stock market. Unfortunately, too many people are intimidated by the stock market and shy away from investing. There are many preconceived notions about the stock market such as you will lose all your money, it's too hard to understand, what do I actually own, etc. These are topics that will be addressed in this blog.

My mission with this blog is to break down personal finance into terms that everyone can understand. As well, I want to help people put their money to work for them. You do not have to be wealthy to invest in the stock market, but the stock market is a place than can help you obtain the wealth you desire.

We all desire to be financially stable. However, the ultimate dream is for financial freedom: freedom to do the type of work you want, when you want; the freedom to rest in the knowledge that your retirement is on the right track; the freedom to feel secure knowing that you are making wise investments with your money and earning the most you can- regardless of how much or how little you have. With wise investments come satisfying rewards.

When traveling, it's always a great idea to have an itinerary; an idea of where you are going and when, as well as the best direction to take. The same thing should be said of money. You should have an idea of where your money is going and the best route to get it there.
