Nasdaq Vice President Issues Confirmation Regarding The Listing Of Bitcoin Futures In H1 2019
Newsbtc.com reported that Nasdaq Vice President Joseph Christinat has given confirmation that the exchange will list Bitcoin Futures in the first half of 2019, subject to approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Rumour's of Nasdaq's plan to list Bitcoin Futures in 2019 surfaced last month, according to Newsbtc.com.
Christinat highlighted Nasdaq's resolve to launch Bitcoin Futures by saying:
"We got into the blockchain game five years ago... we’ve been all over it for a long time – way before the market went into turmoil, and that will not affect the timing of this in any way."
