COINGAPE, citing an article by Les Echos, reported that lawmakers in France have passed a law allowing insurance companies to market investment products related to the crypto and blockchain industry.
Joel Giraud- a member of the French National Assembly- shared:
"Insurers will actually be able to offer products based on crypto-assets... through specialized funds."
COINGAPE opined that the law passed by the French lawmakers paving the way for insurance companies to promote mutual funds focussed on crypto and blockchain assets will foster the long-term viability of the industry.
