Snoopers Rock Hike Overlooking Tennessee River at Sunrise
I took a morning ride out to Prentice Cooper State Park to a popular overlook before daylight. It's about 45 min from where I was so I had to leave about 4:30 am to catch the "Golden Hour". The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous!
This reminds me of the Big Bend in Page, AZ, but less extreme.

The sunrise lite up the entire sky with various colors. I used my D750 with wide angle lense for the shots. The best investment I've made is with my quality tripod. $200 but work every penny.

As you can tell, it was nearly dark when I arrived.
I actually went twice. Once was so different than the first, I just had to go back for more.

I hope everyone enjoys these and they were worth the trip. I was the only one there and was waiting for the ranger to let me in at 5:00 am.

The foggy clouds were so beautiful sitting in the river valley with zero wind and glass like water.
