Which Company Will Issue a Crypto First?
I go over the current status of public U.S. companies that are in the race to issue a cryptocurrency first.
Kodak's project is debatable, as a a foreign company is actually issuing the coins and doing the ICO.
Telegram announced that they will be having a token sale, but no details have been finalized.
Overstock.com, one of the first companies to accept bitcoin, currently has an ICO underway that ends on March 30, 2018.

OK Back to the topic of discussion.
I guess some of them are looking at the market and probably making predictions.
I was reading an article about an ICO that has already been launched and as a matter of fact, tokens has been close to exhaustion but they were like they should wait to see the outcome of the G-20 meeting that was held as regards crypto. Cuz the company was Major in one of the G-20 countries.
So I guess telegram, Facebook and other notable companies are probably watching and weighing their chances.

I don’t see how you can claim a crypto first by effectively asking for investment (which is what an ICO is)! They need to actually innovate!

Hi @investing in my opinion i believe telegram will show us their ICO first, because they have too many investors and a talent team involved to work faster than Kodak.
I beleive Telegram, because its ICO is attracting the industry’s newer crypto investors
I think the question you had at the beginning of the article was what I usually ask the most. Will a US company ever own their own brand name crypto?
With the way things are going, I'll put my bet on Overstock. They have open their arms and embrace bitcoin when others were still very skeptical. Also, they have been working on their ICO for a while now. I think there's prospect there.

The sooner they get into crypto's the better! I was surprised when Playboy announced that they will be using cryptocurrency on their platform. They will use VICE, which started out as steem SMT, but choose a different path as far as I know.
