Tasty Steemit Sandwich Contest #65: Fish and chips
This is my epic fish and chips sandwich entry for the Steemit Sandwich Contest hosted by @jaybird
The ingredients I used today were:
- Brown sliced bread
- Fish cakes
- Oven fries
- Garden peas
- Tartar sauce
- Ketchup
- Salt and pepper
This is a typical British dish in a sandwich. Go check out @jaybird 's sandwich contest and you won't be disappointed.
Have a great one,

Next time I´ll make one as well. I´m gonna show you that chicken, Mango, Curry Roll I told you about. 😉
Please do, but remember this week's theme is all about Steemfest.
love the fish and chips! Never would have thought about doing peas, nice flare @intrepidsurfer. I bet it is difficult to eat bread from the market....:)
hehehe yes it was hard to eat that bread, not the same at all :)
Lol, guess now that you're in England ya gotta switch it up a bit.
Love the video as always, ya ought a work on your plating co-ordination lol. Could have easily ended up on the floor !
Dig the fish (cod) and chips with light batter. The peas were an odd twist and I feel like that little bit of butter really brought it all together. The fries in the sandwich was an interesting choice too.
Visually it came together nicely tho. good colours.
Hopefully we'll hang out at SF4 ;)
bru, I am kind of feeling left out of SF3, it seems everyone and their dog in Poland at the moment.
Oh I did drop a stack of fries on the floor, but I didn't pick them up and eat them until after filming.
I am a little overwhelmed on the amount of choice of ingredients here in the UK. It's like the whole world is in a grocery shop.
You going to do a video and get people at SF3 to make sandwiches?
Haha good call on waiting for the video to end before eating those. I would have done the same ;)
You know, UK isn't all the far from Poland and might not be that expensive either.... just sayin hehehehe
Ya I bet the food option there are pretty fantastic!
I'm not sure how to go about doing the SSC thing at SteemFest, it'll be hard to get access to the the ingredients and a place to make food. There's so many things going on already too. It's been on my mind tho since the last 1.
Perhaps if there was a big enough community of SSC ppl attending it would be able to happen.
