Please hurry with communities and SMT's
Seems like down voting is heating up and a lot of people are getting upset.
I totally believe in the right to free speech, but deciding it's value is highly subjective.
One of the core issues is that Steemit as a blogging platform is.. it is too broad in subject matter. There are too many groups with different themes competing with in the same arena and for the same resources.
When resources are limited and unmanaged. Conflicts always seem to arise.
Steem Engine tribes has moved in the right direction to give each community their own platform. Here I have observed that down voting is operating on different standards. Plus I see way less people getting upset when they are down voted in a particular token.
Steem communities and SMT's (whenever they finally come out) will calm the situation down a little.
The more I see this flagging issue, the more I am convinced Steem will move towards a PoS format in the long term.
