Bonfire
There is something very primal about sitting for hours around a fire. I like this shot as you can see a fireball detaching from the main fire itself . When we lived on our property in the Hunter Valley each year we would have a large bonfire around the time of the winter solstice. Always a great excuse to time to catch up and have some deep and meaningful conversations with friends. In that part of the world it was also a very important hazard reduction for the coming summer fire season. The hunter valley is about two hours north of Sydney, Australia
