Is Steemit all about blogging?
The hidden jewels are in the discussion of the post. I would suggest new steemians immerse themselves in discussion of the content as much as possible.
You never know when your reply will be voted on and turned into a nice reward.
Point is, be active and contribute to the discussions.
I think lots more discussing will happen once the community grows and people link up with like minded members. I'm just throwing content up like crazy right now, hoping to find tribe before steemit is so big the posts get buried even faster. Once we make connections, the discussions will be amazing.
Indeed I agree, what topics are you interested in writing or sharing? I am contributing some economics, philosophy and hopefully some art as well soon...
I'm into diy, green tech, rewilding, meshnets, nomadic life, bushcraft, knife making, anarchy, post-civ life, post apocalyptic vehicle building, desert racing, and crypto based social networking obviously. :) I kind of burnt myself out on economics and philosophy but look forward to new thoughts. There should be a way to follow accounts here.
ahh should have guessed from the name! Very interested to hear more about green tech, nomadic life and desert racing in particular! I also will look to cover crypto's and trading crypto's, stocks, etc.

Absolutely true you never know what path the discussion will lead to and what reward is waiting for you.
The cool part is we are getting rewards by just discussing things we normally do for free. This blows my mind. Think of all the FB discussions over the past decade. Amazing
