The waste into productive...

Going through the websites of my fav clothes brand as soon as a new collection was out, is a habit of mine. And if I had something I like there, I will always set my eyes on them until I could buy them. There was this crop top which was one such product that I set my eyes on. I waited till I find time to visit the shop because it was safer to try it on than online ordering it. It proved to be a wise decision as my usual size was too revealing and one size extra was too big for me. I can home by being utterly disappointed because I badly want to have it in my closet.

I visited home just couples of days after that. On one boring evening, I found my mum organizing some racks where she kept the pieces of clothes she bought to sew dresses and many more others. I saw that there was one piece of cloth that lied beside her, so I asked from her what that piece of cloth for. she told me that it is a remaining of cloth that she already used to sew something and the remaining was too small to use for any other thing. She further added that she was going to throw it out. I liked the material, so I observed it carefully. It was too small, indeed, but I felt like it would be just enough for me to sew the design of the crop top that I couldn’t buy from the shop. When I searched in her rack, I could find another material that would work really well as the lining to the previous piece. I thought of giving it a shot, since she was going to throw them out anyway.

I remembered glancing through the image of the crop top in their official site for a long time to figure out how I should cut that design. But it was not that hard once I figure out how to do it. I started working on the crop top that very evening and I was done with it after two hours. Well…. It wasn’t that bad, actually I liked the result.

The evening was not that bored thanks to eat, and I could finally include that crop top to my closet with more meaning than just buying it from a store.
