Serendipity

I think the ones who write know that we can’t write something just because we got a paper and sat in front of the table to write one. For me, I need to get this sudden random inspiration out of nowhere to write something that worths reading. If I didn’t write my ideas on a paper at that very moment my thoughts will disappear into thin air. This is such a random moment when I felt like writing something.

I saw a whatsapp status which is basically a word and its meaning. I got an idea as soon as I saw it and thought of writing it. Sometimes it’s surprising to create poem out of something so unrelated and impersonal to me. So I thought of sharing it with you all.

Serendipity
A word too nice to be real
So dreamy and more fictional
But little did I know
It had its eyes on me!
Was it just a coincidence?
Or was it our fate?
But there are things
Too magical, too weird,
So special and d##n strong;
To be just a mere coincidence
Or a pre-destined fate.
If not fate, was it a choice then?
Or good timing and good luck?
May be a choice ruled by luck
That led to a serendipitous union!

Serendipity
It found me when I least expected it
And changed my everything, from a-z
Yeah, that was it,
I found Serendipity when I found you!
