Preparations for a special day

When there is a special day coming, im always thinking of it and making plans of it. However, i could not do it this time for this special day. Ever since the new academic year started, we have been extremely busy with the new semester. So I only realized I have got zero preparations except for deciding what I am gonna wear for this special day. This most looked forward day is none other than our university colours day.

Luckily, I didn't have lectures that day, so I spent the whole morning to prep for this. Priorities first. I made a yummy meal for my breakfast and lunch. And then I started prepping my skin for the day. I don't have my usual face pack stuff in the boarding, so I used face masks.

Next is to attach my crests to the blazer which is something I hate to do because it's a very tricky task. Luckily, we stick into two crests only, so I was saved from the trouble from attaching many more.

Then I moved on to my next favorite task which is to decide on my jewelry and what lipsticks and eyeshadow I'm gonna use. Just like I enjoy this task, this takes lots of time to finalize the items. It didn't take that long this time since I wanted to keep it simple since it's a uni event.

After that I arranged my table by placing all the items that are needed for dressing and make up, so it will be easy for me to access them. The the final step was to take a proper rest to save my energy since the next two hours gonna be a nonstop battle in dressing, doing my hair and make up and reaching uni.

As the time grew closer, the excitement about colours night got wings too.
