November felt like December

December always hold a dear place in my heart since it's the month of gifts. It's the month of receiving and giving gifts which is something that I enjoys a lot. However, I started receiving gifts from November itself this time and I got such an odd combo of gifts.

I'll start with my usual sponsor who is my sis. She gifted me a shirt from crocodile to wear to the office cz she thought and still think my dresses are not formal enough. But when I don't actually need to dress strictly formal when doing classes. Anyway, I loved the long sleeve shirt that she has selected.

Moving on to the next one, one of my friends came from Singapore and he gave me a water bottle and a key tag along with chocolates. His reason for buying me a water bottle is that I don't carry "normal-sized" bottles with me cz their capacity is either 2l for the use of whole day or less than 300ml to carry in the hand bag. So apparently, he had wanted to give me a "normal sized" water bottle.

I find the justification behind the selection of my next gift to he equally amusing as the previous one. Another close friend's mother visited here for a vacation and she had asked her to bring me umbrellas because it rains here all the time and I loose my umbrellas very easily.

She gave me a sweet box with their local specialties too.

I love the reasons behind their gifts more than their gifts actually 😅 So my gift receiving period started earlier this year. It's the time now for me to actively hunt gifts before the Xmas because I couldn't buy anything yet.
