Lil accidents, big treats

It’s a well-known fact among my friends that my immunity sucks and I get sick almost monthly. This is one reason for me to start following a good meal plan. I was thinking that eating well did the trick but I didn’t wanna jinx it by telling it aloud. And then this happened.

As usual I did a very dumb thing. My index finger got hit against the wall and twisted when I did a most random jump to reach a higher place of the wall. The hit was very painful, but I didn’t worry because I could move and bend my finger. I did my usual work amidst the pain and only at night realized that it was swollen a lot. I gave it a heat bath and applied some balm.

My finger had become very stiff the next day morning and the middle joint of my index finger was swollen more. And then I started to panic. I was all alone in the boarding, so I got dressed with some struggle since it was painful to move my finger. I put an uber to my sis’ working place and we went to Nawaloka hospital today. Luckily it was not a fracture, but the doctor gave me some meds and asked me to do some exercises to heal the muscle and the bruise.

I was complaining about the pain with my sis and she knew exactly what to do. She took me to a macmart nearby and asked me to buy whatever I wanted. So obviously, I bought my favs. After that, I stayed in her office until she could get off from her work and I was offered ice cream and some sweets there too.

That finger is still troubling me now, but at least I got some chocolates to eat now.
