Gift hunt turned into a food hunt

After the successful completion of the gift hunt phase 1, I set off for the second phase. I had an early start since I wanted to do the shopping at a time when ogf is less crowded. I didn’t have much luck in gift hunting that day since I couldn’t find what I had on my mind. My sis also joined me after getting to know that I was there. The moment she came in, we changed it to a foodie date.

There was a new ice cream place and akka wanted me to try that place since she really liked their ice cream. So we started the day with ice-creams. As usually I selected something that is really really sweet and my sis went for her usually chocolate chips addiction. It was really yummy and quality was good too, so finally, my sis was able to convert me into a loyal customer of that place.

We roamed here and there buying little things, and we were hungry again. My roommate always teases me telling that when I’m really hungry, I always have a specific thing in my mind and will never settle for some thing else. I think that was true. I wanted to eat spicy rice that day but akka didn’t like that saying she was tired of kfc. However, she went ahead with what I wanted, so we ended up in KFC.

By this time, both of us had forgotten what our main goal was which was buying gifts. So what we did after taking our meal was not buying gifts but buying snacks to take to our boarding. I bought masala peanut and some sweets from David and my sis bought some chocolates for her.

So both of us went back to our boardings with a full stomach but with very few gifts.
