Cook Book continuing

in Steem Sri Lankalast year

I’m that friend who sends pictures of whatever I cook. But sending pics alone is not enough for me. So here I am writing about what I cook for the past week.

I think my sis got a right decision to force me to board alone after staying in boarding together with her. It has been only like two months since I started to cook properly in my new boarding but I’m starting to learn cooking. As a new cook, I send pictures of what I cook to my close friends to get praises to boost my energy.. yeah. I’m after praises…

These are what I cooked in the last week. I started my first day in boarding with rice. Not quite my way to cook rice for the first day, but I got a hunger for rice that day. So I made fried rice and dhal and fried meatballs.

I had morning lectures in the second day, so I wanted to cook something that won’t take time. I made one of fav dishes (and it is healthy too. My fav food and healthy food don’t usually meet together…) Cornflake pancakes. This is usually served with honey. I used honey flavoured cornflakes since I didn’t have honey in the boarding.

I got attracted to flour after cooking this, so I made another dish with flour the following day. I made quesadilla and I tried to keep it healthy by making a filling with veggies and eggs.

I resolved to rice and curry menue in the fourth day thinking of the well-being of my friends who are not ready to consider any other food as a main meal except for rice and curry. I surprised them by making a dish with carrots and beans because I’m not a vegetable lover. But I started to eat them lil by lil even though I don’t like them.

I kept it simple on fifth day by making cornflakes pancake again. I added carrots and scrambled egg to balance out the meal.

This was how I cooked for the last five days that I spent in my boarding. I don’t know how long this cooking spirit of mine last but I’m enjoying it while I’m on this.

Thanks for reading. This amateur cook like to talk about what she cooks!

Have a nice day!
