The Big Thank You.

• Steemit has all the plusses of facebook, with none of the grinding negativity. On January 1st this year I set targets for the whole year of 2018. I wanted to hit a reputation of 60 and SP of 500,000. That I have achieved this in just 2 and a half months has completely blown me away. The only remaining target for the year is 1000 followers, I am well on my way with the number currently closing in on 700; it was 500 on Christmas Day. I have grown this completely organically.
  
  Delighted to have hit these targets already
  I am loving this ride, I love writing and it is extremely rewarding when people show support for my efforts. I’d like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to people on here who have supported me by way of upvotes, resteems, and positive comments.

  The Pros and Cons of Upvoting Bots
  
  It is difficult getting noticed on Steemit, that is just a hard fact. People use upvoter bots and upvote their own posts and comments. I have seen articles pouring scorn on this. However I think it is reasonable behaviour as long as you are also doing the hard yards. I have posted more than one article per day since I joined. They vary in length between 300 and 1200 words EACH! All contain good quality photographs. I comment positively on other quality posts, and I curate every day. I ALWAYS try to reply to any comments on my posts; I doubt if I miss one per week on average.
  
  So important to invest in any business in the right way

  I have not been in a position to invest financially otherwise I would do. I do though invest at least four hours per day; so far, over 220 days at a minimum of 4 hours per day. So I have spent a minimum of 880 hours on here and with Steem’s recent fall in price my account is worth just $1500. I don’t think it unreasonable to say that I am putting in more than I am taking out. I am cool with it, I see this as a very long term investment.
  
  Surely this is the long term target for all of us
