Marshalled Mentality 🌀 (An Original Poem.)

In a time where self-criticism and reflection are sorely lacking, this poem is written for my own chastisement and awareness, more so than for anyone else's...

Cackling cliches, a constant cacophony, 

Fallacious facts, fool a faithful following. 

Threatening thoughts, not thoroughly thinking, 

Molding minds, meddling masters of monopoly.

 
Readily repeating, regulated regurgitation, 

Pretended praise, proportioned profusely. 

False freedom feigned and flaunted facetiously, 

Serving submission, a sapient’s self-strangulation. 

This insanity elucidated immediately and intensely, 

To whoever waits and watches words, wafting and weaving. 

Not nuanced, but nebulous, and necessarily negating, 

Dodging dribbled dross of other’s desolate despondency…

Enraged, engaged, and enguard! 

Ignited, inspired, and in-charge!
