Our company, Inner Blocks, exists to provide the world with an opportunity to recognize all of life's potential. Supporting individuals, while cultivating ownership of personal experiences.

From the very beginning there has been a question that keeps coming around.... "What is Inner Blocks about"

As this grass roots project began to take shape the mission statement continued to change and shift trying to feel out the long term narrative of the project. There was no doubt that Inner Blocks was about supporting and encouraging individuals, but how, and how do you best communicate that idea.

In April of 2019 this idea gained some feet and started to really grow. From the very beginning there was support from the broader community. Inner Blocks was already in communication with a developer who was quick to support the project and create a front end on the Steem Blockchain. The project started as THE Inner Blocks, and has since changed to Inner Blocks. The front end version 1.0 is https://www.theinnerblocks.com, and you can clearly see what the long term vision is going to be. To not only create a space for content creation, but for the entire image of the website to be...different from what we already knew through Steemit.com.

With the many amazing changes that have come through Steemit inc.'s continuous amazing development, we have pushed to incorporate the latest developments into our front end. This will all come to be Inner Blocks front end version 2.0, and should be ready in early Q1 of 2020. It will include the latest features, and maybe some we haven't seen yet. It will also be ready for, or include a custom token/SMT.

When version 1.0 was first released to the world there was still an unclear message, but plenty of passion. The founders Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) and The Yeti (@freedompoint) hit the ground running, working to build bridges with other communities and to remove barriers to include everyone.

The community has seen steady growth in tag use, community representation via post footers, and member count on discord. There are now over 200 members on discord. You can always find someone hanging out in the chat, and can even find a couple of groups that are tailored to English, Spanish, and Bengali. As the need for further translation grows with involvement, so will the options.

Weekly you can find an informational radio show simply called Inner Blocks radio that is hosted by Stacie D and The Yeti on The Ramble. It is an hour long show that is built around the ideas of transparency and information sharing. Many projects create a product for people to use and enjoy without much community involvement. Inner Blocks has become what it is through the participation of the community. Applying the great feedback and ideas for what everyone thinks would be a good direction for the project, and even features they would like to see on the front end.

Another aspect of Inner Blocks is that there is nothing expected from it's members. There is no mandatory delegation, or expected level of involvement. Everything is voluntary, just like life should be. We only ask for participation. We hope that everyone will jump into the chat on discord and make some connections. We hope that everyone will use the community footer and spread the word about the project. We also hope that everyone would consider delegating Steem Power to the project, but it is not expected.

@innerblocks currently has 12,278.63 Steem Power. That is 326 organic steem power and 11,952 that has come through selfless support of the project as a whole and for great creators around the world.

All delegations are being used to further the project, and to support great creators, and to support amazing first hand experiential content. This is done through curation. Inner Blocks has a team of curators that search the world over for that first hand content from any country, religion, language, background etc. It is growing in it's diversity each day.

Over the past 7 days @innerblocks has curated 147 posts. That is an average of 21 posts a day. As the the Steem Power continues to grow, so does the curation team. Good things are happening, and even better things are coming.

What we currently see from Inner Blocks is only the digital side. Stacie D and The Yeti are working to bring Inner Blocks into the physical world and turn Inner Blocks into an entity. A corporation that will continue to grow and benefit individuals, not only through content creation and marketplace styled use cases, but to impact real lives through volunteer efforts and donations for those that may need a hand to grow or change their experience.

When it comes to the depths of the human experience there is no one person that can limit another.
