Tejido a crochet #2: Flores de papas nativas
30 de mayo - Día nacional de la papa
Hola, en esta ocasión les traigo unas flores que tejí por el "Día de la papa". En Perú la mayoría de los platos típicos son a base de papa. Así que si aún no la han probado, tienen que venir a visitarnos.
Hablar de papa es como hablar de la historia del Perú, desde la época incaica (domesticación de la papa) hasta la actualidad (mejoramiento genético). Se sabe que en el Perú se cultivan más de 3000 de las 5000 variedades que existen en el mundo. Para acercarnos en cifras serían más de 3600 variedades y 500 son nativas (pigmentadas).
En realidad este es uno de mis temas favoritos, así que mejor no me extiendo más y vayamos al tejido.
Materiales:
- Hilo de algodón
- lana acrílica
- crochet Nº00
- aguja punta roma
- tijera
- alfileres
- llaveros
- cuaderno de apuntes
Antes de tejer algo, se tiene que elaborar un dibujo. En este caso, se tomó como guía un catálogo de flores de papas nativas elaborado por PROPAPA, CIP, ADERS e Iniciativa papas nativas.
Estas flores fueron elaboradas con patrón propio. Si desean el patrón déjenlo en los comentarios para ponerlo en la siguiente publicación (no hay problema).
Al tratarse de flores, se tiene que tener en cuenta la botánica de esta especie Solanum tuberosum (papa). Es decir, los verticilos florales como: los pétalos, sépalos, estambres y pistilo.
Una vez que se tienen todas las partes florales, se cosió las piezas armando las flores y finalmente se colocaron los llaveros.
Y listo, tenemos flores de papa nativa para llevarlos a todos lados.

Dato curioso: Desde hace años estaba buscando estos llaveros. Quizá por eso los tejí con muchos detalles.

Me gusta comer la papa peruanita y amarilla, son arenosas y le dan buen sabor a la comida.
Las papas son de distintos sabores, eso depende de las zonas donde las cultivan.
