Social networks
A day like any other you check your social networks, expect to find more of the same: photos of friends celebrating a birthday, culinary recipes explained step by step, amazing landscapes of exotic places, new fashion trends, etc.
But more and more are the amount of videos that are uploaded to the networks with the sole purpose of becoming viral. Many of them star animals. Of the groups that make more cameos, even without wanting to be the protagonists of these stories, are our beloved dogs. The animal is stuffed in custom made costumes, the time is needed in the same position until the owner is satisfied with the result, they are "ridiculed" and stressed.
There are even videos where owners are seen to force the tips of their pets to make gestures that humans would make to make them even more "funny". They are exposed in a shameful way, to an audience that they do not even know, for a few likes, some downloads or that appear as viral in the precious social networks.
Let's reflect Anything goes? I think not. But I am greatly surprised by the few comments criticizing this type of action.
It seems that we are not moving forward, little by little we are going back to the past, of forbidding animals in circuses for entertainment to create the new "hidden circus". Free show that we can contemplate comfortably from home and visualize it as many times as we want.
