Everyone is used to the waves of the sea and water, but have you ever heard of a wave of rock? A fact not fiction, where there is a wave of rock only in the town of "Hayden" in western Australia.

This wave is very interesting because of its natural rock composition. It is composed of granites and rocky outcrops. Its extension is about 15 meters and about 110 meters high. Its name derives from the fact that it is very similar to the sea waves.

This image shows the slope and cavity of this rock wave that allows the rainwater to be stored inside due to this huge cavity.

It should be noted that this large rock wave is not an ordinary mountain or rock, but it was formed as a result of the underground chemicals, and also from the river, which led to the cavity gradually to form this big wave.

In 1951, the Ministry of Public Works established a reservoir in this rocky cavity in order to benefit the town from the rainwater and exploit the cavity of the rocky wave to collect the water in order to flow into the reservoir.
