Ripple just donated 29 million to schools in the US, this will change to lives of thousands of teachers, hundred of thousands of students and Ripple the company, why?
First, What is Donorschoose.org?
"Through DonorsChoose.org, teachers can easily create classroom project requests that support their students’ needs, and donors are able to give to the projects that inspire them."
Ripple literally bought every single item on the donation wish list!
Ripple Insights explains:
"Our donation fulfilled every request listed on the nonprofit’s website yesterday. Today, nearly 30,000 public school teachers in every state and approximately one million students are receiving books, school supplies, technology, field trips, and other resources vital for learning through DonorsChoose.org."
I continue to be blown away by what Ripple is doing, how they carry themselves and present their vision for changing our world, now.
Activity like this is significant first because of the help it offers those in need but also from a business perspective, in that Ripple will garner positive attention from this philanthropy: win, win!
