Indian Spices
Home made Spices powder, delicious in taste, available in market but home made spices powder which are healthy, flavoured and reasonable .
kitchen king Powder(masala)
Ingredient:
Dry red chilli -8-10
Black pepper - 2 tsp
Dry ginger powder - 1 tbsp
Black Mustard seeds - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 2 tbsp
Coriander seeds - 8 tbsp
Cardamom(small)powder - 1 tbsp
Cardamom(big)powder - 1/2 tsp
Nut meg -1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Fenu greek seeds - 2 tsp
Cumin - 4 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Preparation
Step 1: Turn on the flame, heat the pan,roast Coriander, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and black pepper in a pan, now add this all ingredient into blender to blend with all remaining spices, blend it with fine powder.
Step 2: Keep it air tight bottle, ready for use.(As vegetables dish like allo matar, matar paneer, gobi allo, add 1 tbsp powder, to make vegetable tasty)
Rasam Powder(masala)
Ingredient:
Dry red chilli - 6
Fenu greek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 8 -10
Split red gram(tuar dal) - 1 tbsp
Split Bengal gram(channa dal) - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Preparation
Step 1: Turn on the flame, heat the pan, add all spices(expect Asafoetida) for roast, make the flame on medium, turn off the flame after the roast all spices let it be cool and blend all spices with asafoetida.
Step 2: Keep in air tight bottle. ready for use.
