Karnataka Legislative Assembly Bill Passed
The Karnataka Legislative Assembly has finally passed the Karnataka Land Revenue (Third Amendment), Bill 2017. The bill was held up by the Governor of Karnataka in the previous Legislative Sessions. This law was passed in the legislative sessions being held in Belagavi city.
The 2017 Karnataka Land Revenue Bill intends to regularise unauthorized houses that were constructed, grant title deeds of land that is owned by the State Government in areas that are unrecorded habitations in small tandas across the state.
